Cold war;the Cuban missile crisis
Concepts i learned:
1. Cuban missile crisis- It was a standoff between Russia and the US. They were once respected allies, but later on they became enemies. The cuban missile crisis was one of the events that happened during the cold war.
2. No missiles were actually launched. JFK's careful actions ended this crisis. He threatened Cuba that if any missiles are launched that US will take action, and also putting a blockade on Cuba helped the problem resolve.
Challenges:
Finding a certain topic on the cold war to write about, I couldn't find a man topic, but tehn Mr. Anthony helped me so i ended up doing it on the missile crisis.
Real world significance:
Learning major events in history is realted to the real world, because you need to know history for college, and you'll end up needing to know this and being able to explain. Also learning how to write a featured article is important, because if you ever become a writer your gonna have to know how to write different types of writing.
